varied and rich greenery of the island. Mountains, valleys, waterfalls,
lakes and many other natural features make Wicklow a walker's paradise,
the 132km long Wicklow Way is the most popular walking trail in the
country, and a great way to discover the wonders of this county.
The Wicklow National Park is an area of over 20,000 hectares of
montains, bogs and woodland. Native Irish mammal species are found
within the boundaries of the park and there is an important population
