Donegal Golf Club is situated in the middle of Donegal Bay, this superb links occupies an elegant peninsula which is backed by the magnificent
Bluestack Mountains and bounded by the North-West Atlantic.
Donegal Golf Club has always been proud of the many plaudits extended to us over our short history and already used many times for domestic championships. We hope our club will always be a haven from the cares of the outside world, for our members, friends and visitors alike.
The past two years in particular, have seen the successful hosting of the Irish Amateur close championship for men in 2004, and the ladies in 2003.
More recently the November 2004 issue of Golf World magazine has credited our club with a ranking showing us as being rated in the top ten courses in Ireland.
We have also increased our prominence in the top 100 courses in the British Isles.
Although the standard of our course is evidently world class, our green fee still remains very modest compared to those courses of similar ranking. |
